Day 1: We are heading for the Old West town of Medora, North Dakota, where legends once lived, and their legacy lives on. During the next two days you will experience the unique mix of spectacular scenery, wildlife, entertainment, dining, and shopping nestled in the beauty of the Badlands. A stop will be at the Painted Canyon and Visitors Center, that overlooks this scenic wonder. Upon arrival in Medora we will check into our accommodations in Medora. Our visit to Medora would not be complete without experiencing the famous Pitchfork Fondue. With the sunset as a backdrop, we enjoy a unique western meal served on the scenic Tjaden Terrace. This evening we will sit under the stars of a North Dakota sky, as we watch the Medora Musical. The Musical features new songs, new talent, and a new story each year. Filled with singing, dancing, and laughter, the show is also a patriotic salute to Theodore Roosevelt, depicting his time in Medora and reenacting his dramatic charge up San Juan Hill. You soon discover why 2 million visitors from all 50 states and several European countries have made the annual trip to Medora.
Day 2: Our day begins with a continental breakfast. This morning we will spend some time in the South Unit of Theodore Roosevelt National Park. Here you will find that amidst the breathtaking scenery, the North Dakota Badlands is home to big horn sheep, bison, wild horses, deer, prairie dogs, and other wildlife. There will be time to meander on the boardwalks of downtown Medora to find a souvenir or two, and have lunch on your own. We will then depart for home after a fun Medora tour, arriving home late evening. Thank you for traveling with Utopia Tours.

~PICK-UP AND DROP-OFF locations follow the route of the tour to maintain a
flowing schedule. On tours 6 days or longer, shuttling may be available from
various locations, with minimum number of passengers. Some shuttles may require
an overnight stay. Fees may apply for shuttle service /hotel accommodations.
CANCELLATIONS AND REFUNDS: Receive a 100% refund when canceling, for any reason, up to final payment due date. After final payment due date (listed on individual brochure) and up to 7 business days prior to departure receive 75%, less non-recoverable fees; this is for medical reasons only, need note from doctor. (Travel companions are also covered) Tour cost is non-refundable 7 business days prior to departure. There are no refunds on the air or cruise portion of the tour after 61 days prior to departure. No refund to no shows and for non-covered cancellations. If client cancels reservation, any refund processed by credit card will be less a 3% processing fee. Call us for information on Optional Insurance with Travelex. The purchase of optional trip cancellation or interruption insurance is highly recommended. Optional insurance can be purchased up to 72 hours prior to departure. Certain deadlines apply for waiving pre-existing medical exclusion. Optional Insurance premium is non-refundable.
