Sat., Feb. 13: Grand Island, NE
Join Utopia Tours as we start out on this scenic tour to sunny Arizona to escape the cold and snow for a few days. Our destination is Grand Island, NE, making meal stops along the way.

Sun., Feb. 14: Colorado Springs, CO (CB, D)
We continue through Nebraska today to Colorado. Enjoy the beauty of the Rocky Mountains as we travel along, stopping in Denver, and then on to Colorado Springs, CO. At the Garden of the Gods Visitor and Nature Center, which celebrated 100 years in 2009, we’ll have a coffee stop with time to explore this area. We stay the night here in Colorado Springs, CO, with an included meal.

Mon., Feb. 15: Albuquerque, NM (CB)
From Colorado we enter New Mexico via Raton Pass. We’ll stop at Old Town in Santa Fe, visiting the beautiful Loretto Chapel, and then go on to Albuquerque, NM, to spend the night.

Tues., Feb. 16: Grand Canyon, AZ (CB)
You’ll enjoy scenic mountain beauty today as we travel to the Grand Canyon in north central Arizona. Cities along the way include Gallup, NM; Holbrook, AZ; and Winslow, AZ. At the Grand Canyon we’ll tour the South Rim, seeing some awesome views of one of the Seven Wonders of the World. You will be amazed at the size, colors, vegetation, and wildlife this park offers. While here we will also get an inside look of the Park during an IMAX presentation. Our overnight is here in the Grand Canyon, AZ, area.

Wed., Feb. 17-Fri., Feb. 26: Scottsdale/Phoenix, AZ (10 nights) (10 CB, 1 D)
We depart the Grand Canyon area this morning and venture further into Arizona. A stop will be made in Flagstaff, AZ. Then continue on through Oak Creek Canyon to Sedona, AZ, for a visit. The Scottsdale / Phoenix, AZ, area, which is known as the Valley of the Sun, is our destination. We will be spending 10 nights here at a suite hotel. Enjoy free time in the area to visit family or friends. Optional sightseeing trips will be planned during our stay, including: an area tour, a trip to the Mesa Flea Market, Shopping, a Tucson day trip, and more. We will have an included dinner and show one evening at the Barleens Arizona Opry Dinner Theater.

Sat., Feb. 27: Las Vegas, NV (CB)
Las Vegas, NV
, is our next destination for a one-night stay. Try your luck at the many casinos, take in a show, plus spend on Fremont Street while here.

Sun., Feb. 28: Salt Lake City, UT (CB)
Leaving Las Vegas we enjoy a scenic drive to Salt Lake City, UT. We’ll have a picture stop overlooking the Great Salt Lake before coming into town. Then spend some time at Temple Square before going to our hotel for the night.

Mon., March 1: Cheyenne, WY (CB, D)
The scenery will change today as we leave Salt Lake City and travel to Cheyenne, WY. Along the way we cross over the Rocky Mountains and the Continental Divide. Tonight a Farewell Meal is included.

Tues., March 2: Columbus, NE (CB)
Today we go to Columbus, NE, with meal stops along the way as we share stories about our travels to the Southwest. Part of our route will follow the Mormon National Historic Trail.

Wed., March 3: Home (CB)
We arrive home this evening after a tour to Arizona seeing the different landscapes and lifestyles of the Southwest. Thank you for traveling with Utopia Tours!

TOUR INCLUDES: See “Price Includes” Section. All sightseeing admissions, transportation, transfers, guide fees, tour director services, events included in tour itinerary, lodging, baggage handling (for one piece of luggage per person), taxes, tips for services included in tour, meals mentioned in "Price Includes" section of itinerary. NOT INCLUDED: Tips for meals or services not included in tour price; also, gratuities to Tour Director and Driver are customary.
PICK-UP AND DROP-OFF locations follow the route of the tour to maintain a flowing schedule. On tours 6 days or longer, shuttling may be available from various locations, with minimum number of passengers. Some shuttles may require an overnight stay. Fees may apply for shuttle service /hotel accommodations.

General Tour Information
CANCELLATIONS AND REFUNDS: Receive a 100% refund when canceling, for any reason, up to final payment due date. After final payment due date (listed on individual brochure) and up to 7 business days prior to departure receive 75%, less non-recoverable fees; this is for medical reasons only, need note from doctor. (Travel companions are also covered) Tour cost is non-refundable 7 business days prior to departure. There are no refunds on the air or cruise portion of the tour after 61 days prior to departure. No refund to no shows and for non-covered cancellations. If client cancels reservation, any refund processed by credit card will be less a 3% processing fee. Call us for information on Optional Insurance. The purchase of optional trip cancellation or interruption insurance is highly recommended. Optional insurance can be purchased up to 72 hours prior to departure. Certain deadlines apply for waiving pre-existing medical exclusion. Optional Insurance premium is non-refundable. See Coverage Policy Sheet for more details. FUEL SURCHARGE: Utopia Tours reserves the right to add a fuel surcharge to the cost of the tour. Notice will be given prior to departure. AIRFARE INCLUDED: The availability of airline seats may be limited from each departure city. Utopia Tours reserves the right to provide ground transportation to or from a larger or alternate airport. PERSONALLY ESCORTED: A congenial and trained tour director will handle every detail, attend to the comfort and pleasure of each individual and provide expert guidance throughout the tour.  LUGGAGE: Provision is made for handling one piece of luggage per person. You may also take another travel bag to be handled by yourself.  SEATING ARRANGEMENTS: No seats are reserved on our motorcoach tour except the seat behind the driver which is reserved for the Tour Director. A seat rotation procedure will be followed.  IDENTIFICATION: For tour members entering Canada or foreign ports, passports are required starting 6/1/09. UTOPIA TOURS reserves the right to make changes or alterations in the printed itinerary, dates, routings, or included features prior to or during the tour as may be necessary for the smooth and efficient operation of the tour without prior notice and assumes no responsibility for delays and/or expenses due to such modification.
