Wed., April 21: Amana, IA
Get ready for a tour full of entertainment, fun attractions and beautiful fall
scenery covering Myrtle Beach, Nashville, Charleston, and Savannah and much
more. Our first day’s drive will take us to the Amana Colonies in Iowa where we
will enjoy an included get-acquainted meal at the Ox Yoke Inn, plus stay in the
Amana, IA, area.
Thurs., April 22: Florence, KY (CB)
Our travels take us through the Quad Cities in Iowa and Illinois to Indiana.
There will be a stop at the Indy 500 Speedway then continue into Ohio. After
crossing the Ohio River we arrive in Kentucky with our lodging in Florence, KY.
Fri., April 23: Asheville, NC (CB)
We will enjoy traveling through the horse country of Lexington, KY, which has
over 500 beautiful horse farms. A stop will be made at the new Kentucky Artisan
Center near Berea, KY, which is known as the folk arts and crafts capital of
Kentucky. Then continue on through the Appalachian Mountains to Asheville, NC,
where we will spend the night. We will visit the Biltmore Mansion, a magnificent
250-room chateau created by George Vanderbilt this afternoon.
Sat., April 24: Myrtle Beach, SC (CB, D)
Enjoy more scenery as leave Asheville, NC, and travel to Myrtle Beach, SC. Our
lodging is located right on the beach of the Atlantic Ocean. We will spend two
nights here enjoying shows and other sights. You may want to relax on the beach
or enjoy the indoor/outdoor pools. All rooms are ocean-view efficiencies. Upon
arrival we’ll go to the Broadway At the Beach complex. Later we go to the Dixie
Stampede Dinner Show, followed by the Carolina Opry, two great shows.
Sun., April 25: Myrtle Beach, SC (CB)
This morning is free to enjoy the beach and the amenities at the hotel. This
afternoon we’ll go to Barefoot Landing for shopping and a meal on your own. Then
enjoy One - the Show at the Alabama Theatre located at Barefoot Landing.
Mon., April 26: Charleston, SC (CB)
We travel to Charleston, SC, this morning. The Charleston area is rich in
history, tradition and Southern culture. A local step-on guide will join us on
our motorcoach for a guided tour of this city which has barely changed since it
was founded in 1670. You will feel welcome with its charm and beauty. We will
have a leisurely lunch stop at City Market. Later we board a boat to historic
Fort Sumter. While in Charleston this evening enjoy a South Carolina meal on
your own. Enjoy two nights here.
Tues., April 27: Charleston, SC (CB)
Our stay in Charleston wouldn’t be complete without a stop at the Magnolia
Plantation. Step back in time at this magnificent plantation that features the
oldest public garden in America. We will tour the Magnolia Plantation House,
plus enjoy a Nature Train tram ride – taking us throughout the Plantations
diverse landscape and seeing the variety of floral and animals that are here.
Wed., April 28: Savannah, GA (CB)
Continuing along the Atlantic Ocean we make our way to Savannah, GA. Historical
landmarks, houses, museums, square and parks abound this beautiful coastal city.
Savannah is knows for its wealth of history and architecture that few American
cities can match. To experience this we take a guided tour and visit the City
Market area.
Thurs., April 29: Chattanooga, TN (CB)
As we leave the coast we will travel through Georgia to Atlanta and after some
sightseeing here we continue to Chattanooga, TN, for the night.
Fri., April 30: Nashville, TN (CB)
We’ll arrive in Nashville today Music City USA. We’ll spend some time downtown
for lunch on your own, plus do some shopping and see some of the places where
many country westerns singers got their start. Later we’ll go to our motel. This
evening enjoy the Grand Ole Opry at the Opry House. The Grand Ole Opry is the
world’s longest running radio show featuring talented musicians and singers.
Sat., May 1: Rockford, IL (CB)
We travel north today making our meal stops and visiting about the fun we’ve had
on our tour. We overnight in Rockford, IL.
Sun., May 2: Home (CB)
Return home early evening after a great tour. Thank you for traveling with

in tour itinerary, lodging, baggage handling (for one piece of luggage per
person), taxes, tips for services included in tour, meals mentioned in "Price
Includes" section of itinerary. NOT INCLUDED: Tips for meals or services not
included in tour price; also, gratuities to Tour Director and Driver are
customary.
PICK-UP AND DROP-OFF locations follow the route of the tour to maintain a
flowing schedule. On tours 6 days or longer, shuttling may be available from
various locations, with minimum number of passengers. Some shuttles may require
an overnight stay. Fees may apply for shuttle service /hotel accommodations.
General Tour Information
CANCELLATIONS AND REFUNDS: Receive a 100% refund when canceling, for any reason,
up to final payment due date. After final payment due date (listed on individual
brochure) and up to 7 business days prior to departure receive 75%, less
non-recoverable fees; this is for medical reasons only, need note from doctor.
(Travel companions are also covered) Tour cost is non-refundable 7 business days
prior to departure. There are no refunds on the air or cruise portion of the
tour after 61 days prior to departure. No refund to no shows and for non-covered
cancellations. If client cancels reservation, any refund processed by credit
card will be less a 3% processing fee. Call us for information on Optional
Insurance. The purchase of optional trip cancellation or interruption insurance
is highly recommended. Optional insurance can be purchased up to 72 hours prior
to departure. Certain deadlines apply for waiving pre-existing medical
exclusion. Optional Insurance premium is non-refundable. See Coverage Policy
Sheet for more details. FUEL SURCHARGE: Utopia Tours reserves the right to add a
fuel surcharge to the cost of the tour. Notice will be given prior to departure.
AIRFARE INCLUDED: The availability of airline seats may be limited from each
departure city. Utopia Tours reserves the right to provide ground transportation
to or from a larger or alternate airport. PERSONALLY ESCORTED: A congenial and
trained tour director will handle every detail, attend to the comfort and
pleasure of each individual and provide expert guidance throughout the tour.
LUGGAGE: Provision is made for handling one piece of luggage per person. You may
also take another travel bag to be handled by yourself. SEATING
ARRANGEMENTS: No seats are reserved on our motorcoach tour except the seat
behind the driver which is reserved for the Tour Director. A seat rotation
procedure will be followed. IDENTIFICATION: For tour members entering
Canada or foreign ports, passports are required starting 6/1/09. UTOPIA TOURS
reserves the right to make changes or alterations in the printed itinerary,
dates, routings, or included features prior to or during the tour as may be
necessary for the smooth and efficient operation of the tour without prior
notice and assumes no responsibility for delays and/or expenses due to such
modification. SMOKING: No smoking is allowed on the motorcoach. RESPONSIBILITY:
