Tues., July 1: We depart this afternoon for Minneapolis, MN, for an overnight, as we prepare for our flight tomorrow morning.

Wed., July 2: Our exciting adventure begins as we look forward to the spectacular scenery and wonderful attractions of both Alaska and the Canadian Rockies. After an enjoyable flight to Anchorage, AK, we will be transferred to our hotel. We will do some sightseeing around Anchorage, then this evening we will enjoy an included get-acquainted meal at the Sour Dough Mining, Co. We will spend two nights in Anchorage, AK.

Thurs., July 3: Today starts out with a full-day Wilderness Explorer cruise along the Prince William Sound. Lunch is included as we relax and marvel in our surroundings full of history, wildlife, and beauty. Marine animals and birds flourish in these areas. We will spend our second night in Anchorage.

Fri., July 4: Happy 4th of July! We will depart Anchorage this morning and travel through Matanuska Valley, the center of agriculture in Alaska, with a stop in Palmer, AK. Enjoy our visit to the Iditarod Center to learn more about dog-sledding. A scenic drive will take us past majestic mountains, viewing Mt. McKinley, as we travel to Denali National Park. Here in Denali, which means "The Great One," sits Mt. McKinley, the highest mountain in North America. We will spend the night near the park.

Sat., July 5: This morning a wildlife tour will take us deep into the Park for a chance at viewing wildlife and to enjoy an included box lunch. Later, we depart the Denali area and travel, with a coffee stop in Nenana, to Fairbanks, AK, for two nights. Fairbanks is Alaskas second largest city.

Sun., July 6: We step back in time to the gold rush days out at the El Dorado Gold Mine as we pan for gold. This afternoon we join Captain Binkley of the Riverboat "Discovery" for a narrated cruise along the Tanana and Chena Rivers. This evening enjoy an included Salmon Bake at Pioneer Park - delicious!

Mon., July 7: Well spend some more time sightseeing in Fairbanks today going to the University of Alaska Museum, have an included meal, and stop at the North Pole for some early Christmas shopping at the Santa Claus House. Our flight departs Fairbanks tonight for Minneapolis, MN.

Tues., July 8: We arrive in Minneapolis, MN, this morning. A Utopia motorcoach will meet us at the airport and return us to our designated cities. Thank you for traveling with Utopia Tours to Alaska!

~PICK-UP AND DROP-OFF locations follow the route of the tour to maintain a flowing schedule. On tours 6 days or longer, shuttling may be available from various locations, with minimum number of passengers. Some shuttles may require an overnight stay. Fees may apply for shuttle service /hotel accommodations.
 

CANCELLATIONS AND REFUNDS: Receive a 100% refund when canceling, for any reason, up to final payment due date. After final payment due date (listed on individual brochure) and up to 7 business days prior to departure receive 75%, less non-recoverable fees; this is for medical reasons only, need note from doctor. (Travel companions are also covered) Tour cost is non-refundable 7 business days prior to departure. There are no refunds on the air or cruise portion of the tour after 61 days prior to departure. No refund to no shows and for non-covered cancellations. If client cancels reservation, any refund processed by credit card will be less a 3% processing fee. Call us for information on Optional Insurance with Travelex. The purchase of optional trip cancellation or interruption insurance is highly recommended. Optional insurance can be purchased up to 72 hours prior to departure. Certain deadlines apply for waiving pre-existing medical exclusion. Optional Insurance premium is non-refundable.
